Requirements
Education
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
BSc in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience
6 to 10 years

Additional Requirements
Age 28 to 45 years
3–5 years’ experience in industrial civil engineering, preferably in garment/textile factories.
Strong knowledge of BNBC, Fire Prevention Rules, Building Construction Act, Accord/RSC remediation guidelines, and compliance audit requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context
Plan, design, and execute construction, renovation, and maintenance works for factory buildings, utilities, and infrastructure.
Ensure strict compliance with BNBC, Fire Prevention Rules, Building Construction Act, Accord/RSC standards, and other applicable laws and regulations.
Conduct structural integrity and load assessments in line with brand, government, and buyer compliance standards.
Collaborate with safety and compliance teams to ensure all building designs meet occupational safety and fire safety codes.
Prepare detailed project estimates, BOQs, and work schedules for civil works.
Manage vendor selection, contract negotiations, and on-site supervision of contractors and service providers.
Coordinate remediation work based on structural, fire, and electrical safety audits.
Implement sustainable building practices including energy-efficient and eco-friendly construction.
Maintain updated drawings, permits, compliance certificates, and all regulatory documentation.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to avoid production downtime and hazards.
Liaise with government authorities and inspection bodies for building approvals and certifications.
