This role requires strong leadership, production planning expertise, and hands-on experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably in plastic, packaging, or FMCG industries.

As the General Manager (Production), you will be responsible for overseeing daily plant activities, driving productivity, ensuring product quality, and implementing lean manufacturing processes. You will also lead a team of over 300 operators and technicians, working in multiple shifts to maintain the company’s production target of over 12,000 metric tons annually. This is a senior role requiring both strategic and operational skills to manage equipment, manpower, compliance, and client delivery schedules.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Candidates from any reputed University will get preference.

Experience

  • 8 to 10 years

Additional Requirements

  • Age 35 to 45 years

  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Woven/Non-Woven Interlining, Fabric and others items of Garment accessories.

  • Excellent Communication skill both in English & Bangla.

  • Must have basic Computer Skills MS Word, Excel, and E-mail etc.

Job Context

  • Mikhail Plastopak Ltd, a leading 100% export oriented Garments Accessories manufacturer based in Bangladesh, is looking for dynamic and driven GM Production to join our Production Department. The Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in expending our local presence to RMG industry of Bangladesh by identifying and acquiring new Production, expanding into new market, and maintaining strong customer relationships. They are expected to be proactive, result-oriented, and well-versed in market dynamics and industry trends.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily production and work to achieve daily production target with buyer required quality standard.
  • Responsible for operation and operational staff control and management.
  • Work for 100% capacity utilization and waste reduction.
  • Manage all task for smooth production, smooth final inspection pass and on-time shipment.
  • Setup sewing line, check consumption, costing and inventory.
  • Strictly follow up hourly production and work for increasing.
  • Lead all production staff from the front and having good command on them.
  • Ensure complete tasks to make finished goods from raw materials.
  • Achieve maximum production by the lowest cost.
  • Guide IE team for increasing production.
  • Coordinate all departments for smooth Garment manufacturing.
  • Report to Head of Departments.
  • Any other job assigned by the Management time to time.
