Requirements

Experience:

• 8 to 10 years of experience in VAT, Tax, or related finance roles.

• Proven experience in manufacturing companies or similar industries.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant accounting software.

Educational & Professional Requirements:

• Master’s degree (MBA or Masters) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Highly experienced candidates may have relaxed educational requirements.

• Professional certifications related to VAT, Tax, or Supply Chain Management are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, and other regulatory requirements under Bangladesh law.

• Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns, annual income tax filings, and other NBR submissions.

• Manage Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) and maintain proper records.

Liaison & Advisory:

• Liaise with NBR, VAT offices, and external auditors as required.

• Assist management in tax planning, minimizing tax burden within legal frameworks.

• Stay updated on VAT & Tax law changes in Bangladesh.

Support & Audit:

• Support Finance & Accounts teams during audits, assessments, and regulatory hearings.

• Maintain proper documentation for internal and external audit purposes.
