Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Washing Factory

Additional Requirements

  • Required proficiency in any CAD system. (Optitex Preferred)

Responsibilities & Context

Pattern Development:

  • Interpret buyer tech packs, measurements, and construction details to develop accurate first patterns.
  • Create and modify patterns for various styles of woven pants/bottoms ensuring proper fit, balance, and construction.
  • Work closely with sample and production teams to execute efficient and production-friendly patterns.

Fit and Size Set Adjustments:

  • Attend fit sessions and make necessary pattern corrections based on buyer comments and fit feedback.
  • Prepare graded size sets ensuring accuracy and consistency across all sizes.

CAD and Marker Making:

  • Operate CAD systems (Gerber, Lectra, or similar) for digital pattern making and marker planning.
  • Optimize fabric consumption through efficient marker placement and layout.

Sample Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the sampling team to ensure timely and correct sample preparation.
  • Resolve any pattern-related issues during the sampling and pre-production stages.

Technical Documentation:

  • Maintain all pattern records with proper version control, including hard copy or digital backups.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to sewing and cutting teams during trial and bulk production.

Production Support:

  • Ensure patterns are production-ready and compatible with machinery and sewing line capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify issues arising during bulk production related to fit, measurements, or construction.
