Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s/Honors degree from any reputed university. Preference will be given to students from North South University, BRAC University, Independent University, Bangladesh, Bangladesh University of Professionals, and University of Dhaka.
Relevant professional certifications in management, business, or supply chain will be an advantage.
Experience & Background
Minimum 3 years of experience in Country Manager jobs or related roles.
Proven track record in Wholesale, Retail Store, Direct Selling/Marketing Services, Supply Chain, E-commerce, or Online Retail Startups.
Age range: 26–35 years.
Key Responsibilities
As a Country Manager / Country Head, you will oversee and lead all operations of the Bangladesh office:
Operations & Team Management: Supervise staff, assign tasks, and ensure a productive work environment.
Financial Management: Monitor company accounts, maintain accurate records, and support audits.
Supply Chain & Logistics: Coordinate with Chinese teams, freight forwarders, and ensure smooth shipment and customs clearance.
Market Analysis & Product Planning: Research Bangladeshi fashion accessory trends and plan product selection with Chinese suppliers.
Client & Vendor Relations: Build relationships with wholesale customers, negotiate with vendors, and manage contracts efficiently.
Sales & Marketing: Lead B2B/B2C marketing initiatives, digital marketing campaigns, and ecommerce strategies.
Reporting & Strategy: Prepare monthly operational, sales, and expense reports; implement office-level business strategies to achieve growth targets.
Staff Development: Recruit, train, and develop local staff to ensure professional growth and operational efficiency.
Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement best practices to streamline workflows.
Skills & Expertise
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Expertise in accounts & finance, sales & marketing, business/product development, and digital marketing.
Good product knowledge and understanding of Bangladeshi market trends.
Proficiency in office management, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
