Requirements
Career Preparation & Counseling
Provide individual and group counseling for apprentices during and after training.
Assist apprentices in setting career goals and planning career paths.
Conduct sessions on CV writing, interview preparation, and workplace behavior.
Coordinate Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) certification where applicable.
Employment & Entrepreneurship Support
Match graduates with job and self-employment opportunities.
Guide apprentices in starting businesses and link them with financial services.
Support business planning, financial literacy, and basic business management skills.
Employer & Industry Engagement
Build partnerships with local employers and industries.
Organize job fairs, recruitment events, and on-site interviews.
Placement Tracking & Monitoring
Maintain records of job placements and monitor employment outcomes.
Track career progress and maintain an updated database.
Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting
Collaborate with MCPs, POs, local government, and private sector stakeholders.
Maintain regular reports and document success stories.
Educational Qualifications:
BSc in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or IPE from a government-approved university.
OR Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Management, Economics, Development Studies, Social Work, or Sociology from a government-approved university.
Minimum 1st Division/Class or equivalent CGPA required. Applicants with more than one third class/division are not eligible.
Experience:
At least 7 years of full-time experience in the development sector, including at least 3 years in skills development or TVET management.
Experience in employment support, training facilitation, career services, project management, or entrepreneurship development.
Preference for candidates with prior collaboration with BTEB, NSDA, and private sector stakeholders in skills development/apprenticeship programs.
Experience in national or large-scale apprenticeship/work-based learning programs is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Proficient in MS Office.
Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.
Self-motivated, adaptable, team player, and passionate about social development.
Willingness to travel frequently.
Ability to support gender equity, inclusion, and safeguarding initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Salary: BDT 47,700 (inclusive of all applicable taxes)
Additional Benefits: Festival Bonus, Bangla Noboborsho Allowance, Mobile Allowance
