We are actively looking for a highly skilled and experienced Janitorial Supervisor (also known as Cleaning Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager, or Facility Cleaning Supervisor) to lead and manage all aspects of cleaning, maintenance, and facility hygiene operations within our organization. This role is critical in ensuring a safe, healthy, and well-maintained environment for employees, visitors, and clients.The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate janitorial staff, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are carried out efficiently and according to established standards. You will develop, implement, and monitor cleaning schedules, assign daily responsibilities, and conduct regular inspections to guarantee that all areas of the facility meet the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards.
In this role, you will also be responsible for training and mentoring janitorial personnel, ensuring they follow safety protocols, proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and adhere to company policies. You will maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, report any facility issues or damages to management promptly, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of responding to emergencies or urgent maintenance needs. You will coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations and uphold a professional, clean, and safe working environment.
Requirements
Education
Minimum HSC or equivalent qualification.
Candidates with relevant certifications or training in janitorial/cleaning operations will be preferred.
Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in janitorial supervision, preferably in a club, hotel, or corporate setting.
Proven experience in team supervision and staff management.
Strong responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to handle emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate, and manage daily activities of janitorial staff.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and operational standards.
Assign tasks, monitor staff performance, and provide guidance and training.
Prepare cleaning schedules, duty rosters, and reports on staff performance.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies.
Identify, report, and follow up on maintenance or facility issues.
Enforce health, safety, and hygiene protocols across the club premises.
Handle operational gaps, staff discipline, and urgent cleaning/emergency situations.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operations.
