A-Grade Pharmacist (Pharmacy In-Charge) at Green Life Hospital Ltd.
We are currently expanding our healthcare services and are looking for a highly qualified, Registered A-Grade Pharmacist to take on the role of Pharmacy In-Charge at our well-established medical store/hospital pharmacy. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm), or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized institution. A valid A-Grade registration with the Pharmacy Council is mandatory for this position. We are seeking an individual with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, inventory control, and team management.
Candidates who have prior experience working in hospitals, retail pharmacies, or clinics — particularly those who have previously held positions such as Pharmacy In-Charge or Drug License Pharmacist — will be given strong preference.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized university.
Mandatory registration with the Pharmacy Council as an A-Grade Pharmacist.
Professional Experience
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of practical experience.
Must have served in a hospital setting, ideally in a supervisory role such as Pharmacy In-Charge or an equivalent position.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in reputed healthcare institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Educate and advise patients on the correct usage, dosage, and side effects of prescribed medications.
Implement a First-Expire-First-Out (FEFO) method to manage stock and reduce medicine wastage.
Ensure medicines are stored properly and that the pharmacy area remains clean and organized at all times.
Regularly check and record room temperature to maintain proper drug storage conditions.
Handle all operational activities of the pharmacy, including:
Reviewing and verifying prescription orders.
Maintaining accurate records of controlled substances.
Removing and disposing of expired or damaged medications.
Overseeing inventory control.
Safeguard drugs from physical damage and contamination.
Collaborate with hospital management on administrative tasks and reporting.
Foster a professional, team-oriented work environment and maintain effective communication with colleagues.
