As an Assistant Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients, supporting the pharmacist-in-charge, maintaining inventory, and upholding the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.

Requirements

Education:

Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Must have valid registration from the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of practical experience in a hospital setting.
Applicants should have worked as an Assistant Pharmacist or in a similar role in any reputed hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications strictly as per doctors' prescriptions.
Guide patients regarding proper use, dosage, and precautions of medicines.
Maintain inventory and monitor expiry dates to reduce wastage.
Store medicines in appropriate temperature-controlled environments.
Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy area.
Communicate stock levels with supervisors to avoid drug shortages.
Prevent contamination or damage of stored medicines.
Maintain teamwork and positive collaboration with healthcare staff.
